Pointing out that health tourism has a large economic share worldwide, Savaşan said, “Health tourism creates a global market (1.2 trillion dollars). People now spend money not only for treatment, but also for spiritual and physical serenity. Areas such as beautification, fitness, healthy aging, spa and wellness are gaining importance in this category. Some facilities even offer technology detox programs. People are now interested in and spend money on these areas, especially after the pandemic.”.
